The Tollgate is a unique combination of a top class restaurant and very relaxing bar, with its log fires and sofas beckoning you to flop and while away the hours. Try one of the many changing guest ales or glass of wine from the extensive list, while perusing the daily changing menu developed by Chef Alexander Venables (previously at the Lucknam Park where he gained a Michelin Star).

The Tollgate Inn only uses local produce, hand reared beef from the lush green pastures of Broughton Gifford, our own lamb and game from local village shoots, fresh fish features daily from Brixham and a superb selection of cheeses from Bradford on Avon. The luxury bedrooms are beautifully decorated with antiques. All the rooms have views over either the village green or the Westbury white horse.
