Mortons House Hotel was built circa 1590 in the shape of an 'E' to commemorate Elizabeth I with stone taken from the 'sleighted' castle. This original Manor House boasts a fine reputation for Gold award standards and service, in addition to an award winning Two AA rosette restaurant.
