


Soak up the atmosphere of the Abbey’s 13th century cloisters, 16th century stable courtyard with half-timbered gables, the clockhouse brewery and bakehouse.
Explore the Victorian wooded garden with fine displays of spring flowers, magnificent trees, rose garden and the re-instated botanic garden. Saunter through the village which has provided the setting for recent films including Pride and Prejudice, Moll Flanders and Emma. The museum commemorates photographic pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot who lived in the Abbey, and became known as the Father of Modern Photography.
