Romantic Places to visit

Longleat, Warminster, Wiltshire

Longleat House is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public.

Longleat is widely regarded as the best example of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public. Lived in by the Thynne family for more than 450 years and current home to the 7th Marquess of Bath, the house has played host to monarchs through the ages from Elizabeth I in 1574 to our present queen who visited in 1980.

The magnificence of the House itself is matched by the splendour of its surroundings; a spectacular mix of landscaped parkland, lakes and gardens.
