Treasures include magnificent state rooms, a long gallery featuring portraits from the National Portrait Gallery, and an exhibition of 17th century samplers.

In the garden a rich tapestry of green highlights the mellow hamstone of the buildings. There are smooth lawns, yew hedges, mixed borders and old roses all set within the landscaped park.
