Splendid house, magnificent art collection, home to Earl of Pembroke.

Home to the Earl of Pembroke. Palladian house containing the magnificent Double Cube Room – the finest surviving 17th century stateroom in England. The world renowned art collection includes works by Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Brueghel and Reynolds. Furniture by Chippendale and Kent.

Set in 21 acres of ‘Capability Brown’ style landscaped parkland with smaller formal gardens and the famous ‘Palladian Bridge’. Used as a location for many costume dramas including Mrs Brown, Madness of King George and most recently, Pride & Prejudice.
