Mouthwell Sands Beach, Nr Kingsbridge, Devon

A small sandy beach with numerous rock pools exposed at low tide.

Dolphins and seals can often be seen swimming offshore from this beach. Situated to the north of Hope Cove and surrounded by outcrops of rock, it is rugged in appearance but sheltered and provides a quieter location, in contrast to other larger popular beaches.

There is a good choice of restaurants close by, as well as a friendly pub.
