Praa Sands stretches over one and a half miles. During the spring and summer basking sharks, seals and dolphins may be seen off the beach. The village itself also boasts many local facilities including ample car parking, camping, toilets and beach shops.
Situated between two major towns, Penzance and Helston on the A394. Praa Sands has a bus route to both towns and other surrounding villages. Penzance also has a rail service.
