Nestled at the foot of one of south Devon's landmarks, 'The Ness', Ness Cove beach is only accessible via an original smugglers tunnel.
Access is via the M4 or M5 and A303 to Exeter. Take the A38 - A380 towards Torquay. Turn off at Teignmouth and follow signs to Shaldon. Follow the B3220 from Shaldon towards Torquay, turn left into Ness Drive. The beach is marked from the two car parks. There is a mainline railway station in nearby Teignmouth and good bus/coach links with Torquay and Newton Abbot.
