Chedworth Roman Villa, Nr Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Journey back in time to the remains of one of the largest Romano-British villas in the country.

Excavated in 1864, the site still has a Victorian atmosphere and the site museum houses objects from the villa. Over one mile of walls survive and there are several fine mosaics, two bathhouses, hypocausts, a water-shrine and latrine.

A 15 minute audio-visual presentation gives visitors an insight into the history of this fascinating place.
