The Assembly Rooms & Fashion Museum, Bath

Heart of the City's social life since the 18th-century.

The Assembly Rooms have been at the heart of the City's social life since the 18th-century. The spectacular Ball Room is the largest Georgian interior in the city and accommodates up to 500 people comfortably. Linking the Ball Room to the elegant Tea Room is the Great Octagon, furnished with paintings by Gainsborough and Hoare.

There are a variety of stylish room combinations to make your day a truly unique event, whether it be a wedding reception, dinner dance or party. The Assembly Rooms are also licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies. The Fashion Museum is housed on the lower ground floor of the Assembly Rooms. This provides a stimulating venue for a pre-dinner drinks reception of up to a hundred people, and allows visitors to reflect on bygone era in fascinating surroundings.
