For over one hundred years,players of all abilities have enjoyed the challenge of links golf in this uniquely beautiful place.

The Warren is a traditional links course of 5954 yards, designed in its present form by James Braid and playing to a par of 69. The fairways are natural,unspoilt duneland turf on the seaward side with lusher grasses on the estuary side. Banks of heather,small copses,drifts of gorse,ponds,banks and ditches add to the challenge of the course. Our greens are acknowledged as being as fine as any in the South West :fast, fair and true.

However,The Warren is more than just a golf course; it is a site of special scientific interest and a truly precious place. It is home to rare orchids,plants and grasses,including the unique Warren Crocus. The Warren is a stopover for huge flocks of migratory birds and wildfowl. Birdlife is rich and exotic whatever the season. Stoats, foxes,birds of prey and rabbits exist in delicate equilibrium.
