Magnificent, evocative and awe-inspiring ruined Abbey...... come and explore 2000 years of history and legend at what was once Englands largest and wealthiest Abbey. Legendary burial place of King Arthur. It was here in 1191 that the monks dug and found the remains of King Arthur and his Queen Guinevere.
Not just a ruined Abbey, but also 36 acres of glorious Somerset parkland, hidden away in the centre of the old market Town of Glastonbury. In recent years the grounds have been enhanced with wildlife areas and seasonal colour such as daffodils and bluebells....... so take a walk in the park....amongst the grassy glades....or along the shady badger boardwalk....see the differences for yourselves !
