This original 16th century coaching inn has been lovingly restored to provide intimate spaces for dining and relaxing in an informally rustic atmosphere with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal local produce. A UK Dining Pub of the Year 2004.

The restaurant is made up of a series of cosy, stylish dining rooms, each with its own identity. Although there are linen cloths and sparkling glassware on every table the feeling is relaxed. The award-winning cooking is based on seasonal ingredients and much work has gone into forging links with local farmers and food artisans to ensure the best raw materials.
