Fine 18th-century house with costume collection set in glorious hillside garden overlooking Devon countryside.

The garden was created in the 1770's by John Veitch, one of the greatest nurserymen and landscape designers of his day. It features rhododendrons, magnolias, herbaceous borders and rare trees.

A beautiful sandy beach with excellent views across the bay.

This is one of the best stretches of golden sand in Cornwall and ideal for romantic walks. The beach is used for horse riding and kite surfing, as there is a large expanse of sand at low tide.
